Studio

Luverne Studio Image Luverne Street Music is Luverne, MN's own music school. Luverne Street Music began as an "idea" of Luverne residents, LaDonna Iveland and Janine Papik when they were talking to chamber director, Jane Wildung Lanphere about opportunities for music lessons in Luverne. The idea exploded into reality and all of the pieces fell into place with the partnership of the Episcopal church and the assistance of the Luverne Area Chamber.

The studio opened its doors at the Hilger Commons in January of 2013 and remained in this location at the corner of Luverne Street and Cedar Avenue, thus inspiring its name, "Luverne Street Music". 2016 became a "Year of Transposition" as some water issues forced a move from this location to a temporary home at St Catherine's, to our new home at the city owned Carnegie Cultural Center after an extensive renovation of the lower level to provide the quality studio space needed. Luverne Street Music at the Carnegie celebrated its grand opening in the Fall of 2017 welcoming over 100 students of all ages and over a dozen teachers and directors of private lessons and ensembles.

Luverne Street Music is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. The studio is managed by a volunteer board of directors. Luverne Street Music is proud to serve the community's musical education needs and we look forward to a bright future full of beautiful music!
